The Village Election will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 6:00 AM-9:00 PM at Village Hall, 236 Tate Avenue for Districts 1 & 2 in the Community Room on the second floor. This year the election is for Mayor and two (2) Trustees and (1) Village Justice.
Qualification of Voters: A person, to register for and vote at the Village Elections, must be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the Village for a minimum of thirty (30) days preceding such election. NOTE: All Absentee Ballots must to be mailed to the Board of Elections in White Plains.
Join us on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 3 PM to 4 PM (promptly) for fun at the Village Hall Lawn, 236 Tate Ave, Buchanan, NY, 10511.

After Camp Care:
The Recreation Department is offering an After Camp Care program available to all campers who attend the Village of Buchanan Day Camp from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. This program includes rest/movie time and swim time at the pool.The fee is $175.00 for the full week or $40.00 per day.
The Recreation Department is accepting applications for day camp staff and lifeguards.

Buchanan Engine Co. is an all-volunteer, independent fire company and is looking for volunteers. It is an amazing experience to volunteer in your community.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and meet the minimum attendance requirements of 10 drills per year. If you are between the ages of 14 and 16 and reside in the Hendrick Hudson School District, ask about our Junior Explorer Program.
